Ceremony should feel like you
Meaningful without being manufactured.

Simple Legal Ceremonies
Short, sincere ceremonies for couples who want the legal essentials handled properly without turning the moment into a production.

♥
Inclusive by practice, not just by slogan
Your beliefs belong in your ceremony.
You will never be asked to squeeze your relationship, your family, or your grief into a generic script. Intertwined Moments welcomes LGBTQIA+ couples, blended families, people of many faiths, people between faiths, and people who want no religion involved at all.
If a ceremony includes a tradition I can respectfully and appropriately practice, I will do the work to understand its history, meaning, and correct use. When a tradition should be led by a member of a specific community or clergy, I will say so honestly and help make room for the right person.

Meet your officiant and celebrant
Hi, I'm Crystal.
I believe people deserve ceremonies grounded in who they actually are, not who tradition assumes they should be. My role is part writer, part steady guide, and part keeper of the details when emotions are high and everyone else has twelve things happening at once.
Whether you are promising a life together or gathering to honor a life that has ended, I will meet the moment with preparation, candor, compassion, and respect.

Questions, answered
Before you ask.
Do you perform LGBTQIA+ weddings?
Absolutely. Your relationship will be treated with the same care, dignity, and joy as every relationship should be. Inclusive service is not an add-on.
Can our ceremony include religion or spiritual traditions?
Yes. Ceremonies may be religious, spiritual, secular, interfaith, or blended. We will discuss what each element means to you and whether I am the appropriate person to perform it.
What is a confidential marriage ceremony?
In California, a confidential marriage license is not available for public inspection and generally does not require a witness. You obtain and pay for the license directly through the county and meet its eligibility requirements. I perform the ceremony, complete the officiant portion, and return the completed license to the issuing county for filing. I do not issue marriage licenses.
Will you travel?
Yes. Standard service covers El Dorado County, Placer County, and the Greater Sacramento Valley. Longer-distance travel may be available with a quote agreed upon in advance.
How quickly can you create a ceremony?
Availability depends on the date and the amount of customization. Simple legal ceremonies can often be arranged faster. Fully custom writing benefits from more time, but expedited service may be available.
